Ötzibrew was influenced by the story of 2 hikers who in 1991 discovered a naturally preserved body in the ice, 3210m above sea level in the Ötzal Alps. The body named Ötzi the Iceman who lived between 3350 and 3105 BC was found along with a small pouch containing pollens and roots. Scientists analysed his body to trace his diet and diversity of his microbiome. Inspired by his medicinal pouch ötzibrew was born, creating a range of organic coffee alternatives, handcrafted in small batches from premium organic ingredients, caffeine free, vegan and produced in environmentally friendly paper tubs.
