Common painkillers linked to increased risk of heart failure
According to a new study published in The British Medical Journal taking a common painkiller increases the risk of heart failure. The study of over 10 million people with an average age of 77 from the UK, Holland, Italy and Germany concluded that taking anti inflammatory non steroidal drugs including, ibuprofen, naproxen and diclofenac increases the risk of heart failure by 19%.
NOTE: All the people in the study were over 65 with an average age of 77.
